What will take place during my EPC assessment?
During your visit, the assessor will:

• Inspect walls, roof, windows, insulation, and heating systems

• Take a few photos for evidence (no personal items included)
• Access the loft if safe and practical
What can I do to achieve the best rating?
To help achieve the most accurate and favourable
result:
• Have paperwork ready (e.g. insulation or boiler
certificates, receipts for double glazing, solar panels, etc.)
• Clear the loft hatch for safe access
• Label heating controls (thermostats, programmers,TRVs)
• Replace any remaining halogen bulbs with LEDs

It’s a non-invasive inspection — no drilling, damage, or disruption. Please ensure access to all rooms, the boiler, and (if possible) the loft.
